The Ryan STA enjoyed much favor as a sport and stunt plane in the 1930s  and was also used as a military trainer. It was a low-wing monoplane of mixed construction; a metal fuselage, wooden wing spars with fabric covering and external wire bracing. the STA has two tandem open cockpits. It was manufactured by the Ryan Aeronautical Company,San Diego, California.Examples of this aircraft are still flying today and are a popular classic aircraft because they are fast and very sleek looking!
The YPT-16 was a military version of the civilian Ryan STA, and was used by the Army Air Corps for primary training. It was the first monoplane acquired by the Army as a primary trainer.

This cargo model is intended for the hardcore, backwoods, bush-hauling work-a-holics trying to scrape a living out of remote freight.  A "clean" version is also included for those obsessive-compulsive types.  You might also enjoy the included 11 Cargo Flight plans.  Have fun!

I have attempted to recreate the 1911 Wright EX Vin Fiz in a fashion that will enable most simflyers to pilot this aircraft.  Select "1911 Vin Fiz Fight with the EX" from the select a flight option. There are 4 legs from which you can choose. I haven't flown them all so: "Beware of the high altitude airports!"  Use the "S" key to switch to various viewpoints.  I usually fly with the "Ctl-Z" airspeed on the screen due to the lack of an accurate instrument panel. For pilots such as myself who get lost walking around the block, Shift +2 , will bring up the GPS and your loaded flightplan.
