Effective immediately we have a new flightserver online and at a new IP Address. The old server was about to die after being online for 4 years and needed to be retired.

For the new ip address, select Online Flight from the menu above and then click on MP Server Details. You will see the new IP address there.

If any of you have ever flown hoplists here at WSPilots created by Nasty, you understand they are full of excitement and flying challenges. Nasty goes through great strides creating challenging hop lists for WSP, and has done it again with Carrier Madness Part 1 for FS9!

This list is the first part of a World Tour of aircraft carriers. There are 116 hops in the list involving over 50 carriers starting in Alaska and finishing at the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. If you aren’t already, you’ll be an expert at carrier traps and steam catapult strokes before you get to San Diego.

There are a wide variety of carrier types placed for these hops including the Langley (first US Navy carrier), Lexington, Saratoga, Hornet, Enterprise, Nimitz, Ark Royal, JFK, Abraham Lincoln, Carl Vinson, the futuristic Defense Platforms (you won’t believe these until you land on one) and a host of others. You’ll find just about every carrier on the list has VOR, ILS, and NDB navaids that you can access on your flight map. The all have ICAO codes that work in “GO TO AIRPORT” menu.
